Questions before your first session?
Is Octodoro a free Pomodoro timer?
Yes. The timer is free to use with an Octodoro account. Optional Premium extras and shop purchases are available, but a subscription is not required to focus.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Create a free account to use the timer and save your focus progress, pets and customisations. No credit card is needed to get started.
Can I change the focus and break lengths?
Yes. Settings includes Classic (25/5/10 minutes), Gentle start (15/3/10) and Deep focus (50/10/20), plus custom durations and automatic-start options.
Can I study with friends?
Yes. Open Lobby in the Together group on your timer, join or create a room and agree on a shared focus session. Your friends need their own accounts.
Can I use Octodoro on my phone?
Octodoro runs in your browser on desktop and mobile, so you do not need to install an app to get started.
